Cindy Applehans’ varied background has contributed to her distinct style. She obtained her Masters of Art and Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Colorado receiving honors and Outstanding Achievement in the school of letters, Arts and Sciences.  Training she received at the Institute of Art as well as in fashion illustration have left their mark in her work as well, combining a love of graphic design, illustration and fashion. These are skills she passes onto the thousands of students she has taught as an art teacher. Cindy also markets, manages and serves as Art Director for several artists and business people.
